Ink and Stone Aftercare
Pre-Treatment Instructions for Permanent Makeup

No botox/filler in the area 2 weeks prior to session
-
No facials/chemical peels 2 weeks prior to session and 2 weeks post session
-
No massages for 1 weeks post session
-
No excessive sweating/exercise for 7 days post session
-
No pools, lakes, etc for 7 days post session
-
Avoid excessive sun exposure for 2 weeks post session
-
No caffeine 24 hours prior to session
-
No aspirin, ibuprofen, alcohol or blood thinners 48 hours prior to session
-
FOR EYELINER: no lash growth serums 4 WEEKS PRIOR to session
Microblading and Eyeliner Aftercare
-
For 7 days: wash brows or liner MORNING and NIGHT with cleanser provided very gently with clean fingers. Pat dry with tissue or gauze.

Apply balm provided 3 times per day for 7 days (immediately after washing and mid-day without a wash).

Keep brows/eyes dry (other than for cleaning them) for 7 days
-
DO NOT pick or scratch
-
NO exercise or working out for 7 days
-
No makeup, lotion, or face wash on brows/liner for 1 week.
Piercing Aftercare

Spray piercing with provided saline spray 2x per day for 7 days.

Do NOT touch piercing until healed. (No twisting or manipulating jewelry)

Keep heart rate low for 24 hours after getting pierced.

Bleeding, swelling and bruising is normal while piercing is healing.

Do not sleep on your new piercing. We recommend piercing pillows if you find you're having trouble sleeping. (we sell these in the studio).

If the jewelry gets knocked or hit, a piercing bump may form (frequently mistaken for a keloid). See image below for piercing bump and irritated piercing protocol.

It is important to shorten your jewelry bars as soon as the piercing feels healed. (we recommend making an appointment for this service)

If you suspect you have an infection, please consult your primary care physician.
Tiny Tattoo Aftercare

Keep provided bandage on the tattoo for 48 hours. (If applicable)
-
Remove bandage with warm soapy water
-
Wash tattoo with warm soapy water 2-3x per day until healed
-
After washing, apply very thin layer of ointment (aquaphor or similar) or unscented body lotion to the tattoo until healed. We want it hydrated but not gooped up. Thinner is better!

If you suspect you have an infection, please consult your primary care physician.

Contact us if you feel like you need a touch up! Every tattoo includes 1 complimentary touch up. It is VERY likely your tiny tattoo will require a touch up. Touchups should be done 4-6 weeks after the initial tattoo. (Additional charges may apply for touchups after this time period.)
